Drawing inspiration from Euan Uglow and Matilda Michell, this series explores form, through figure and still life studies.
Uglow studied objects’ internal structures, seeing roses as spirals, and pears as raindrops with a stem. These paintings aim to scrutinise the structure of everyday objects and the human figure.
