Connections, Gaffa gallery, 2014.

This series goes beyond the still life object itself and explores the object ‘within’ and the process of unraveling, or peeling that object. It examines the inherent contrasts between external and internal and draws parallels between these simple still life objects and the surprising, beautiful, fragile nature of the world around us. These paintings also aim to provide a new perspective on the commonplace objects that have such a rich history in the tradition of still life painting.
